Summary:
There was once a girl named Sophie. She could not sleep, because a moon beam was on her pillow. And she also felt something watching her through the window.However,she did not see who it was，so she tried to go back to sleep.
One night,She saw a giant. She was afraid,but the giant did not hurt her. They begain to play games like friends.The giant took her to his home. He was good.His name was BFG. The other giants were bad. They eat kids or cucombers. Sophie tried to eat one, but it was too stinky. One bad giant fought with the BFG. He began to eat a cucumber. Sophien was not careful and fall into the giant’s mouth. She climbed out of his mouth. The giant went away,but Sophie was dirty.and needed to clean up.
BFG then drank some powder,and he could fly. Then the BFG caught the bad giants playing and he felt bad and angry. He took Sophie to a magic place. Sophie had asked how he flies.so he took her there. He told her they will try to catch dreams and help give them to other kids. He doesn’t want the giants to eat kids any more.The BFG and Sophie go to the bad giants.and give them dreams. When they wake up they fight each other.Everybody gets hurt BFG makes many magic dreams. They think about how to catch the giants. They will use the dreams，but they are scared.
They go to London and find the Queen. They tell her about the bad giants eating kids, and how to kill them. The Queen eats breakfast with Sophie and BFG. They use a table for BFG,and he eats so much food. They talk about their plan to use the army and helicopters to catch the giants.
They go to find the bad giants. Sophie is not scared to hit the giants feet and they fall down. The helicopters catch them and put them in a hole and throw cucumbers in to the hole. The bad giants are annoyed everybody then knows about the giants and they make a notice to give the giants a place to live. The BFG and Sophie live happily together.

My thoughts:
In the plot，I like part11,because it when they catch the bad giants.
He uses good descry to make the character sound real，and to know their feelings .
The setting is fun.
I don’t like the small word her baby word is use a lot I don’t like it.
What I learned:
In this book I learned is the some good sentences and verb. I learned to read the book faster and more correctly.I also learned some gammar..
In the story I learned the BFG and Sophie were not too scared to do things.
